Shipping & Returns
These policies explain where Knucklehead Labs ships, what shipping costs, and how eligible cancellations, returns, and refunds are handled.

1. United States Shipping Only
Knucklehead Labs currently ships only to eligible addresses within the United States. An order may be declined or cancelled when sale, possession, or delivery appears unlawful or unsafe at the destination. Customers must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to purchase and receive the ordered product.
2. Shipping Method and Rates
Orders ship using USPS Ground Advantage with tracking. Current flat rates are:
- Crusader: $19.95 USD
- Scalpel: $14.95 USD
- Mini Crusader: $14.95 USD
- Multi Tool: $8.95 USD
The final shipping charge is displayed before payment. Knives should be insured for their full purchase value. Any included or additional carrier coverage remains subject to the carrier’s terms.
3. Processing and Delivery
In-stock products normally leave the studio within 2–5 business days after cleared payment and any required order review. USPS Ground Advantage generally delivers within an additional 2–5 business days. These are estimates, not guarantees. Custom work, weather, carrier disruption, legal review, or an address problem may add time.
Products marked Preorder are not currently in stock. Each preorder product is limited to 30 backorders, with estimated delivery in 3 to 6 weeks from the order date. Because products are made in small runs, that estimate may change. If Knucklehead Labs cannot deliver within the estimate, the customer may accept an updated timeframe or cancel for a full refund.
A tracking number will be sent to the contact information provided with the order. Customers are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and secure delivery address.
4. Damage, Loss, or Incorrect Items
Report visible damage, loss, shortage, or an incorrect item within 3 calendar days after recorded delivery by emailing jonathanharrington1976@gmail.com. Include the order number, a description of the problem, and photographs when relevant. Keep the product and packaging while the carrier record and available remedy are reviewed.
5. Eligible Returns
Contact Knucklehead Labs within 14 calendar days after recorded delivery to request return authorization for an eligible standard product. The product must be unused, uncarried, unsharpened, unaltered, undamaged, complete, and returned in its original packaging. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
Unless the product arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, the customer is responsible for return shipping and original shipping charges are not refundable. Use a trackable and adequately insured return method.
6. Nonreturnable Products
Custom, personalized, modified, used, carried, sharpened, altered, damaged, or clearly marked final-sale products are not returnable except where required by law or where Knucklehead Labs delivered a damaged, defective, or incorrect item.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
An order, including a preorder, may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before shipment by contacting Knucklehead Labs. Once an order has shipped, the return policy applies. Knucklehead Labs may cancel and refund an order that cannot legally or safely be fulfilled.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after inspection. A bank or card provider may require additional time to post the credit.
