Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Knucklehead Labs and its founder, Jonathan Harrington, collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit this website, contact the business, or purchase a product.

Effective date: August 3, 2026

Purchasing notice

Products are offered only to customers age 18 or older who may lawfully purchase, receive, possess, and use them. Orders are limited to eligible destinations within the United States.

1. Scope

This policy applies to information collected through the Knucklehead Labs website, checkout, orders, and related communications. It does not control the independent practices of third-party websites, payment processors, shipping providers, or other services linked from this site.

2. Information We May Collect

Depending on how you use the site and which features are active, Knucklehead Labs may collect:

  • Contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, and shipping address.
  • Order information, such as products purchased, order history, transaction amount, fulfillment status, and customer service records.
  • Payment information. Payment card details may be collected directly by a third-party payment processor. Knucklehead Labs does not intend to store full payment card numbers on its own systems.
  • Communications, including questions, custom-order requests, feedback, and other messages you send to Jonathan Harrington or Knucklehead Labs.
  • Technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, and date and time of access.
  • Cookie and similar technology data, when those technologies are used to operate, secure, remember preferences for, or understand use of the site.

3. Sources of Information

Information may come directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, from service providers supporting the website or an order, and from publicly available or lawful business sources.

4. How We Use Information

Knucklehead Labs may use information to:

  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website;
  • respond to questions and communicate about products, custom work, availability, and orders;
  • process payments, fulfill purchases, arrange shipping, and provide customer service;
  • prevent fraud, misuse, safety risks, and unlawful transactions;
  • maintain business, tax, warranty, and transaction records;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce website terms; and
  • send marketing communications when permitted by law and when any required consent has been obtained.

5. How Information May Be Disclosed

Knucklehead Labs may disclose information to providers that perform services on its behalf, including Netlify for website hosting, FormSubmit for contact-form delivery, Stripe for checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, and tax calculation, and USPS or another disclosed carrier for shipping. The website uses FormSubmit to route contact-form messages to Jonathan Harrington. FormSubmit handles those messages under its privacy terms. Those providers receive information reasonably needed for their work and process it under their own terms and privacy practices.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a merger, sale, financing, or transfer of the business, or with your direction or consent.

Knucklehead Labs does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, this policy and any legally required choices will be updated before the new practice begins.

6. Cookies, Fonts, and Third-Party Technology

The current site loads Adobe Fonts through Typekit. When your browser requests those font files, Adobe may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and the page requesting the font. Adobe handles that information under its own privacy terms.

Stripe Checkout, fraud-prevention tools, embedded media, and essential hosting functions may use cookies or similar technology to operate securely, remember necessary state, prevent abuse, and complete transactions. Knucklehead Labs does not currently use third-party behavioral advertising cookies on this site.

The current site does not use a separate process to respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Browser controls and opt-out tools offered by third parties may still limit certain data collection.

7. Data Retention

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including fulfilling orders, maintaining required business and tax records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary by the type of information and applicable law.

8. Data Security

Knucklehead Labs uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling, and to appeal a denied request.

You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message. Transactional and service communications may continue when necessary for an order or business relationship.

Requests may be submitted using the business contact method published on this site. Knucklehead Labs may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. You will not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.

10. California Privacy Disclosures

If California privacy law applies, California residents may request to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the sources and business purposes for collection, the categories of recipients, and may request correction or deletion, subject to legal exceptions.

In the preceding 12 months, Knucklehead Labs may have collected the categories described in Section 2 and disclosed them to the service-provider categories described in Section 5 for business purposes. Knucklehead Labs has not knowingly sold personal information or shared it for cross-context behavioral advertising during that period.

11. Children’s Privacy

This site’s products and purchasing features are intended only for adults age 18 or older. Knucklehead Labs does not knowingly sell products to minors or knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If such information is discovered, it will be deleted as required by law.

12. International Visitors

If you visit from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or another country where service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your home country.

13. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be revised when site features, business practices, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Material changes will receive any additional notice required by law.
